Join us this autumn for a captivating series of Heritage Lectures in the iconic Jodrell Bank Space Dome.
Discover hidden histories and surprising stories as leading scientists, archivists and historians reveal Jodrell Bank’s 80-year tale of intrigue, resolve and radio waves.
Nestled in the heart of the Cheshire countryside, Jodrell Bank has long been a beacon of scientific discovery and astronomical research. This autumn, celebrate the layered and thrilling history of scientific discovery in the first ever season of Heritage Lectures at Jodrell Bank.
Bringing together experts from across a number of disciplines, these talks will explore the often under represented narratives of the individuals behind some of humanity’s most important breakthroughs. The series will trace rich narratives over the course of an evening, investigating both major moments in Jodrell Bank’s history and turning to wider developments across the UK’s scientific landscape.
