The countdown is on for Saturday 29 March, when the Moon will “take a bite” out of the Sun during a partial solar eclipse (10.06am – 12.02pm at Jodrell Bank, precise times vary with location).

To celebrate this celestial event, we’ll be opening our doors early at 9.30am, offering breakfast and outdoor solar observing (weather permitting) at the First Light Pavilion. We will also be hosting a livestream in the Angle room!

*Remember – never observe the Sun directly with the naked eye or any optical device that doesn’t have a special solar filter.
