Astronomy Photographer of the Year produced by Royal Museums Greenwich, is an annual competition featuring the world’s greatest space photography, with amateurs and professionals alike turning their lenses towards the ever-shifting majesty of the skies.

Photographers from across the globe compete to take home the prestigious title, and this year’s winner Andromeda, Unexpected, can be viewed alongside many more runners up and highly commended images.
