Starting in either the First Light Pavilion or the Space Pavilion, leaders from each Uniformed Group will be given an itinerary of astronomical activities and talks, including time to step outside and navigate the night sky using planispheres, telescopes and binoculars (weather permitting).
Travelling around the site, children will take part in activities to work towards their Astronomy or Space badges, and will hear from Jodrell Bank’s Explainer team, revealing the secrets of the skies and Jodrell Bank’s crucial role in mapping the universe.
