Returning in 2025, book a Jodrell Bank Astrophotography class and see the stars in a whole new way.

Elevate your technique and transform your celestial photos into works of art with a follow-on astrophotography class at Jodrell Bank.

A classroom-based evening, this session follows on from our ‘Step into Astrophotography’ course, giving budding astrophotographers even more tips, tricks, and techniques for creating breathtaking night sky portraits.

Meet likeminded people and expand your creative horizons in a session which includes a talk by Jodrell Bank’s Dr. Anthony Holloway and a demonstration of industry-standard software such as ‘Deep Sky Stacker’ and ‘Star Trails’.

Get inspired by the power of astrophotography at the upcoming Astronomy Photographer of the Year exhibition, hosted at Jodrell Bank 26th October – 27th April

Please note, this is a theory-based session, and the evening won’t include any practical outdoor work.

This event is suitable for adults and young people 14+. All attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Hot drinks will be provided.
